Your contribution to NOVA provides participants and the community families with academic education, training, extra curriculum, and comprehensive support necessary for a more promising future.
NOVA works to help provide access to accredited training programs from accredited training institutions for low to moderate-income, unemployed or underemployed adults.
NOVA has provided excellent services to the Monroe Community and Northeast Louisiana Region since 2008. To date the organization has assisted over 1000 individuals, successfully fulfilling NOVA’s Mission as a job intermediary, identifying the workforce needs of regional employers and connecting them with trained, job-ready individuals who are seeking living wage employment with benefits.
To achieve the goal of placing individuals in living wage employment with benefits and a career path, NOVA seeks partnerships with Community Based Organizations, Businesses, Local Government, and Community Leaders.

"Gardner Denver has had great success with the NOVA program - the candidates we've hired are committed to hard work, to self-improvement, and to the success of our team. We strongly support the mission and intent of NOVA, and it will remain for us a preferred program to depend on for entry-level opportunities to join our team."

"Being an employer who has been in the paper and plastic industries for some 40+ years, I have been concerned about the lack of a skilled workforce in the area of manufacturing in our community. NOVA is an organization that has made great strides in taking individuals who for whatever reason have taken the wrong path in life and need someone to give them guidance and vision in becoming a contributing source in the general workplace."
